“A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.

The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools
 pours forth foolishness.”
~ Proverbs 15: 1,2

“Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good.” ~   Romans 12:21

“Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the         wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” ~ James 1:19,20

2.  Think about your opposition in an understanding way.

3.  Speak the truth.

4.  Seek the truth.

5.  Use the Word of God as your final authority.

Here are questions we must ask ourselves:

Here are questions we must ask ourselves:

- What passage of Scripture am I acting upon?

- What biblical principles are guiding my decision making?

- What truth do I need to bring my feelings in line with?

- What biblical procedure has God given me to follow in problem solving?

Conclusion:

But as much as depends upon you, be at peace with all men.
